[SOLVED] "open current folder as root", error message?

Post by mack_mcash »

Hey, all.

When I'm in the file browser that is used in LMDE-64bit_LXDE,"PCManFM 0.9.10", and attempting to use the option from >"tools">"open current folder as root", this error message is displayed:

Code: Select all

"Failed to execute child process "xdg-su" (No such file or directory)"
Does anyone here have any solutions to this error?

Thanks for any assistance.

mack :)

Open PcManFM and go to Edit>Preferences>Advanced
In the box that says "Switch user command," type in "gksu %s" and hit close.

Now it should be fixed.
