When I insert a blank DVD, an auto-launch pop-up indicates that no default DVD writer program is set.
When I check the Preferred Program list, there is no spot for a DVD writer program and there is no obvious way to make an addition.
When I searched here for clues, there is nothing obvious (but then I may not have used the correct search words).
So, how do I resolve this for LM 12 Lisa?

Re: No DVD writer launch application
Brasero is the default dvd burning s/w. In Gnome anyway in KDE it is K3B
Re: No DVD writer launch application
Yes, it is the default program, of sorts, but the OS doesn't recognise it as such, for the pop-up.

Re: No DVD writer launch application
Just change the popup to brasero , there is usually a select program option, then it will be the default from then on.
