Software updates
I'm new to Debian and would like to ask how often do applications in repos get updated for LMDE? I see other distros get the latest stuff very quick, but LMDE repos go with older versions of apps. Anybody?

Re: Software updates
That option didn't entirely solve the problem. Something got updated, but not everything. My question here would be directed towards Mint Developers: would it be possible to update the repos more frequently?
Re: Software updates
What I've discovered is that the UPs are great for moving your entire system safely through testing. If I ever need specific updated packages I pull them from testing, unstable, or experimental using apt-pinning.Inoki wrote:That option didn't entirely solve the problem.
