Sorry for bothering. I had some problems with mint update that just got solved http://www.linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopi ... 339#p60339, so now it should be fine.

Do like Husse said. Use "Mint Update" instead of "synaptic" and install the files that are checked there for you.
