I'm a bit of a Linux newbie, so please forgive me if I'm a bit slow. Basically, I am having this problem on 3 different computers, 2 laptops and a desktop PC on which I have installed Mint Maya 32 Bit. Occasionally, the screen flashes uncontrollably between windows when I do the following things:
1. Open a streaming video to full-screen
2. Click to save an image from the internet
3. Open VBA-M into full-screen (only happened once)
4. Also happening now when I open anything in LibreOffice
When the screen flashes, the mouse doesn't flash at all and I can move it around as normal. The only way to get out of it is either repeatedly click on a button to close whatever I've opened or force reset the machine. At first, I thought it was being caused by the installed themes as it started happening shortly after I changed some of the window themes on one of my computers but now it is happening on all of them even with the default Mint-Z theme in use.
I had no problems whatsoever running Mint 12 on these computers.
