I use Pidgin for IRC. Today when I got on(I leave Pidgin running) I had a different nick, It had me as "RETNUH1". I have Pidgin remember my password so I don't remember it myself(bad habit). I tried to identify and that didn't work because I had the wrong password. I then remembered I have pidgin remember my password so I just closed down Pidgin and reopened it. It gives me a message saying
"RETNUH@irc.spotchat.org disabled
Your selected account name was rejected by the server. It probably contains invalid characters."
I haven't changed my password or anything.
What can I do to get back in my account?

I had a word with Kuja (IRC network admin) - there may have been a problem with spotchat itself - best to try again and report back if you still can't get in
