Greetings from Queensland, Aus. I have a minor niggly problem - not vital, but annoying. When opening Open Office documents in the file browser (Nautilus), they always open in a background window hiding behind the Nautilus window. I've looked in both Nautilus file manager & Open Office preferences, but can't find a way to modify this behaviour so that opened files are in the foreground. Other documents such as pdf files correctly open in a foreground window. I don't know whether this is a file manager problem, or an OOo problem. Can anyone suggest a solution, please? BTW, Mint is Daryna, & Open Office is 2.3
Thanks in anticipation
doddy

I've looked at this but unfortunately there are no hits for your problem.
Take a look at the Open Office forums, may be a solution there
