I'm running compiz on the latest version of LMDE/mate and having a keyboard mapping problem. Although my ctrl key works fine in various applications, in compizconfig-settings-manager any attempt to map a ctrl key combination results in it entering <Primary> as the key identifier, which seems to be incorrect.
Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Terry

Re: compiz keyboard mapping problem
As a workaround I was able to obtain the keyboard bindings that I wanted by editing them in ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig/Default.ini. The compizconfig-settings-manager would not allow it for some reason, I guess it is a bug.
