I'm trying the live CD of Mint13 XFCE.
The 'time' in the panel is UTC and I want to change it to 'local time' (actually, UTC+1), but can't find a way of doing it.
XUbuntu has Applications->System->Time + Date to change it, but this appears to be missing in Mint.
How do I change it, please?
Many thanks.
Keith

Re: Change time in Mint13 XFCE
Not sure if what you need...
I'm still using 'RC' also with 'MintMenu'
administration>time and date
J.Jay
Edit sorry that one actually came in the 'mate-system-tools' I installed for adding users (with a GUI)

Re: Change time in Mint13 XFCE
Many thanks for your reply.
Another thread has appeared, with the same problem.
I used the command suggested in that thread:
sudo date -s 14:07 (but, of course, I substituted the current time for 14:07).
Logged out and back in, and the time is now correct.
