I hope this is the right place for this. Long story short Thunar doesn't see my Windows computers.
If I open Thunar and goto network:/// I see a Windows Network folder. Upon opening it, it takes me to smb:/// and then there's nothing there. If I type in smb://<computername>/, then it will prompt me for my password and let me see the computer.
Is there something I need to configure or do to be able to browse my network in Thunar? :-/

Make sure the package gvfs-backends is installed.
Re: Thunar doesn't see Windows Network
I checked and it's installed. I then decided to reboot and bam, it's working now... Strange, but so long as it's working I'm happy.

You can also....
use gigolo and auto-start the partitions/computers links. You can then make a permanent bookmark in 'Thunars' side panel.

P.S. I have gigolo auto start in notificatoins (where can activate bookmarks on right click) instead of auto-starting link always.
