Ony one account has no sound?

Hi All,

All of my LMDE accounts play sound, music, Youtube sound etc. except one. I've checked the settings and all are the same as the other accounts. The user "pamela" is in the cdrom group:

cdrom:x:24:test,pamela,userzero

and when I try to play a cd, I get the following:

The playback of this movie requires a Audio CD source plugin which is not installed. (Not a movie but a music cd).

This account is set up just like the other accounts. I log out, try the other accounts and get sound. Not sure what's going on here.
