How can I remove a Gwenview shortcut (or possibly any other unwelcome shortcut) from the taskbar where it loads on each restart, irrespectively that I right-clicked on it and unchecked its "Remove this launcher" option as well as unchecked the other checkmark of the loaded program from its taskbar button (option "Show a launcher when not running"). The shortcut keeps returning nevertheless and this just cannot be prevented. Even saving the session doesn't help, it's still reloads, the same is even with starting an empty session...
I guess the best idea would be to manually edit some startup config file. Where can I find it and what entry to remove from it?

Re: Unwelcome taskbar shortcut on startup
"startup applications" is in your mint program menu. Open that up and see if gwenview is in there, if it is, remove it.
Re: Unwelcome taskbar shortcut on startup
I don't see any such applet... And even in KDE Menu Editor there's no such reference, unless you speak about "System Settings" applet, "Autostart - System Settings", but it's not in there...

You should have posted this in the KDE section - will move it there for you.
