See 4c in this guide: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=86813

Same procedure even though it's gnome shell themes described in the guide.

Okay but it seems i can't install for i need some special right permission?
I'm the only admin here (afaik)!

Also, did notice there were other themes already in there.
Why doesn't Cinnamon Settings not "see" them?

Create a new folder called .themes (the . is important!) In your home folder and put all your downloaded themes there. Note putting . in front of the name makes the folder hidden, so you may need to click "show hidden files" for it to show when adding them.

After you install some new themes to that folder they should show up in the themes menu, best of all you don't have to worry about constantly sudo moving things.

My desktop is in the repair shop and i'm worried about the worst.

I decided to bump this because it's one of the first results if you google "How to install Cinnamon themes".
As the above user posted, the installation instructions are as follow:

Unpack the theme in ~ /.themes folder and activate it inside Themes sections under Cinnamon System Settings tool.

You may have to restart GDM.

Thanks, Martin.
