Debian splash screen with Xfce
I installed Mint 12 Main Edition on my laptop (using mint4win) then put on Xfce and took off Gnome. Now when I boot I get a Debian splash screen. It looks quite nice, but is that meant to happen? Normally the Mint folk don't leave in anyone else's branding.

Re: Debian splash screen with Xfce
I'm guessing the Xfce version you installed was direct off Ubuntu servers (so they didn't contain any Mint artwork or logos with them).
