Headphone and Speaker work at the same time
I have a Dell Inspiron 640m. I have Bianca installed, and When I plug in my headphones, the speakers stay on, and continue to play. This is a large problem for me, and I would appreciate help on this very much.

Hi there,
If it is running an intel card similar to the HP you could have problems. Try installing the most recent release candidate alsa driver from the alsa sound website.
My HP had similar issues and I have a how to on these pages that points to another site that helped me.
Who knows, installing the most recent driver might fix your problem.
Cheers
John
