Solved, I found out thru gksu --debug that it was trying to authenticate with root... So I just used the root password!

Hi Mint Forum users,
It's a month I'm experiencing this problem.
I use Mint Debian 64bit edition, and when I open a program in the MATE menu requiring root access, after I fill in the form with my password, su-to-root closes when "Giving Rights" (Using italian distro, don't know exact translation)
I'm in the sudo group and I can use sudo and gksu in the terminal, but not directly in a GUI. for example, I can't install a package with GDebi after password prompt.

I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling sudo, menu and gksu packages.
