Keep getting copy errors

I'm using LM 12 LXDE. When I copy or cut a file from my laptop to a flash drive, it say's transfer complete but with errors. Anyone know why I'm getting this? Currently don't have this problem when using WinXP. Thanks.

Turns out it was a problem with the flash drive itself.
