OK glad you like it..

I have always found Linux (well apart from the beginning, just like all OS, Apple classic and windows xx (pre XP ) to be sufficient for the normal Internet applications
  • Email
  • Browsing
  • Upload/download data of interest
  • Streaming..
Netbooks simply made that more clear..

And of course with Google docs or apps or some netbook Internet (cloud software or OS), almost anyone will have little issue with any OS

Hi zippycatchy, welcome to the Linux Mint forums :D Thanks for joining the forums!

Be sure also to check out the Community website (tutorials, hardware and software reviews, ideas). You can also chat in real-time with other Linux Mint users. In the Mint Menu, in the Internet section, start the application XChat IRC. You will automatically get connected to #linuxmint-chat for general chat and #linuxmint-help for support with other Linux Mint users.

Have fun with Linux Mint.
