I want to remove Xfce and install KDE, then make a live cd using refracta, How should i go about doing this?
I removed office programs and other junk that i don't need, Now i need to fully remove xfce..

what version is KDE in testing? is it not 4,8?? it says 4.6?

i assume that you are using the default repos (latest) if so with UP4 the v. available was/is 4.6.x, 4.8.4 will be available soon with UP5;

ZZ beat me to sharing the link to the unofficial LMDE KDE respin. If you want to run LMDE with KDE I'd strongly recommend going with that ISO. You will never be able to get all of the original DE from your LMDE install removed without breaking your system. I need to do a nuke and pave to install Schoelje's respin since it came out shortly after I rebuilt my LMDE system and I'm kicking myself for not being able to use that as the basis for my rebuild.
