Tell us about your Computer(HP Pavilion dm1?)...What kind of Connection... What kind of Crashes?..Many Netbooks Don't have Specs to Run Cinnamon(3D)
Also Keep in Mind Cinn. is New...Did you try Mate? Or maybe Linux Mint 9.
Have You used VLC?..It's the best(UnKnown) Media Player even on Windows..
