Anticipated date for the next Mint Debian massive upgrade

Post by tlcmd »

Any idea when the next Mint Debian upgrade will be out. The last one was 201204. Would appreciate the info.

Yup... I'm just being offered UP5, and I'm on "latest".
- I suppose the announcement will follow quite soon, so we can see if there's anything that needs special attention.

Edit - seems that it is already announced in the blog even though it hasn't reached the first page yet...

That's a good idea ... especially because the repository servers are super erratic and very slow today .... if they even work at all. I've been trying all the mirrors for many hours. Cannot find anything resembling a reasonable connection. The problem's not here either. Internet speed checks out well and I have no difficulties anywhere else.

open mintupdate and check update pack info button but if you are experiencing slow downloads or errors i recommend to postpone the update.
