Update pack info question

Postby beetlejuice7 on Sat Sep 22, 2012 2:29 pm

Hi, I'm fairly new to lmde. I believe* that I have updated...I did an apt-get dist-upgrade...but I am getting what appears to be a warning when I click "Update pack info" and am not sure how to remedy (screenshot):

Here is the output of inxi -r

Code: Select all

Repos:     Active apt sources in file: /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ debian main upstream import
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
           deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
           deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia testing main non-free

Am I running the latest and greatest? What am I missing here.

You have the latest UP installed in your system. What you're considering as a warning is the information about the pack. The most important information is :
Code: Select all
Current pack available : 5
Latest UP used.... :5

That's perfect ;)
