Hello!
First off, thanks for your distribution. I really like the XFCE version in particular. Now that Unity is integrating a "shopping lens," I've decided I would rather use a distribution created by a project more focused on the community.
With that in mind, how could I contribute packages, etc. to Linux Mint? There is a section on packaging but I apparently cannot post there. The community repo project on launchpad doesn't seem to actually contain anything.
Thanks
Thanks for the distro - how to contribute?

Most of our development is done in Python and Glade. We also use Git for version control and APT/DEB for packaging. If you're comfortable with these technologies, don't hesitate to have a look at the code. If you think you can improve our applications or write new ones don't hesitate to suggest patches or to fork our git repositories.
