Re: BitTorrent study finds most file-sharers are monitored
People still use BitTorrent instead of the decentralized Kademlia to download black copies?
Re: BitTorrent study finds most file-sharers are monitored
Stay away from the popular stuff until it becomes less popular and less likely to be monitored.

Just download a decent IP blocklist. That will keep known bad peers (monitors etc) from connecting.

WARNING they can still track you. It's best not to use torrents at all anymore. ISPs are helping track people as well, I know several people that received lawsuits from it. It's not safe anymore. Find a different source for downloading if you must, or just stick within your means and pay for what you can and open source the rest.veggen wrote:Just download a decent IP blocklist. I was going to but I deleted my post as I don't want to break the rules of the forum. But you might as well not use anything and wait for a lawsuit if you use an ip block list.veggen wrote:LMAO, you actually care?cra1g321 wrote:LMAO u actually think those work?

Humm, lets see I have a big brother fear piece posted on a media site? Or I have the fact that I nor anyone I have ever known directly has ever been busted for illegal file sharing. Which to go with, bait or reality?
