Tout - a Cinnamon theme

Post by tpprynn »

I had posted this before and then deleted it after realising it wouldn't display right on others' computers. It's all fine now. This began with me wanting to alter the Baldr theme so that the Ubuntu font was gone, but then I started to alter other things, like making the panel background more distinct and removing the overly dark-looking boxes from the panel and menus and exchanging them for a subtler but hopefully still quite functional form of feedback.

The file Tout.zip should be extracted to a folder called .themes in your Home folder, whether already there or made by you.

Edit: I have put this on the Cinnamon resources site too as suggested, and have made more improvements - nicer menu with subtler 'favorites' and a quieter-looking scrollbar. If anyone knows how/if a popup menu can be squared at the corners while the Cinnamon menu has rounded corners that would be of interest. (At a guess it's impossible as they are the same class of widget?)

Okay, will do. I just felt reserved about it as I'm not a gtk3 master...
