Today my printers have all disappeared from the list of installed printers. I am running Mint 13 with MATE. I have a laser printer and an inkjet, also had a PDF printer installed, but when I turned on my laser printer, Mint said it found a new printer. I looked at the list of printers and the other 2 are no longer there.
What can cause this and how do I stop it happening again?

Buy someone something for them online once and they will be happy for a day. Get them to get their own Internet connection and they will be happy for the rest of their life.

Same happened to me, on a full network of computers running Mint 13. Please advice
