Burning MP3 file in K3B? <SOLVED>

Post by gael33 »

I like to use K3B to burn files because it is reliable and the finished product is always good. However, music CD's are a different matter. If the files are mp3's, K3B is unable to burn them to disc ... or is there a way without converting the files? Question; Will K3B burn mp3 files to disc ... how?

Thanks, gael.

Thanks for that ... CD now burned okay :)
The site that you supplied was somewhat out of date and I initially found myself looking at codecs that had been superseded.
sudo apt-get install libk3b*-extracodecs typed in the terminal installed the missing codecs.

Happy, happy, gael :)
