Hello
I was wondering does anyone have any idea on where i can find info on how to save the iptables settings ( ip i am dropping / blocking ) , and how to get mint 13 kde to load those saved settings up on boot up ?

iptables is the program you use to configure the netfilter rules. So read "man iptables" to get the details on this program. Or you can browse some documentation on their website: http://www.netfilter.org/documentation/index.html
Unless you know what you are doing, using ufw is the better idea. ufw is a more user friendly way to configure iptables, and is installed on Linux Mint also.
