No sound on browsers and elsewhere
I have a new install of Mint 13 with Cinnamon. I have 2 sound cards, an onboard CMI8770 that I gives no sound from anywhere, and a USB card (which hardlocks the computer if I use a long playlist) that lets me play MP3s with VLC or any other program but which gives eme no sound from browsers (Chrome or Firefox). Last night before I did the clean install and all the upgrades, I had browser sound with the USB. I'm pretty desperate for browser sound - I need it for a language class. Is tis a Flash issue? Is there a fix?

Posting in the wrong section does tend to reduce your chances of getting a question answered
