I am trying to install LMDE on my HP Pavilion laptop. When I have tried to install it, it gets almost all of the way through the installation, when it suddenly hangs and I can do nothing but force it to shut off by holding down the power button. I even tried installing it in Virtualbox, but it froze in the same spot and froze my entire computer. What do I do to be able to install it?
The .iso I used: LMDE 13 MATE/Cinnamon 64-bit
Installation fails with LMDE-201204
