I can't install my webcam on Linux Mint. I'd like to use it for Skype. It works fine on Windows XP. Any Ideas?

A little more info might be helpful in getting an answer. What make and model of webcam first of all?
Is it built in or an external?

Thanks for replying. It's an HP HD Webcam. HD 3100/HD 3110.It's external.

As far as I can find there are no Linux drivers for that particular model of Web cam May be someone else know of one but
could not find any and HP doesn't provide any either.

This webcam worked out of the box for me on Mint 15.
