ok :)
inside the /etc/apt folder do you have any sources.list.save file? if yes what is the content of that file?
if not do you know what iso you used to install lmde?

majdavlk,
can you open a terminal window, copy&paste the following command
Code: Select all
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.save
and give us back here in the forum the output that you get.

Thank you very much.

ok :shock:
let's assume that:
- you are following the default 2012.04 repos;
- you made no alterations;
- you add no additional repos;
as you see is a lot of assumptions regarding something so vital as your sources.list

the sources.list in the 2012.04 iso are
Code: Select all
deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ debian main upstream import
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia testing main non-free
