Post by KremiX »

how to use reversed scrolling (natural scrolling) in nightly nemo? YES it is impostant to me and probably to many others: chrome, ff opera is using this, our smart phones are "using" this and many other apps too . thanks. just give us a choice to enable this. worked in marlin but not in nemo, real pity. no, gnome tweak won't help. cheers!

Hi, I'm hoping for a "natural scrolling" function within Cinnamon, too. I see there are a couple hacks to get this working under Ubuntu, but I can't seem to access the package per the instructions here to try it. Anyone?

Well, I solved my own issue. I went to

https://launchpad.net/~zedtux/+archive/naturalscrolling

and installed the following in Software Sources:

Code: Select all

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/zedtux/naturalscrolling/ubuntu quantal main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/zedtux/naturalscrolling/ubuntu quantal main
Then I ran Software Updates and searched for "naturalscrolling". I got a version for Ubuntu "Quantal" and installed it. Seems to be running just fine, and I've selected a preference within it to run at startup.

Enjoy!
