Hi everyone,

Just an FYI, I have recently ran the upgrade of my LMDE and Canon MP240 printer driver is no longer working :(

When I first installed LMDE, Canon MP240 printer driver worked out of the box on this 64-bit machine. And I was happy about it because I no longer had to struggle with making 3rd party Canon driver work with 64-bit architecture.

However, latest upgrade has broken something so I can longer use Canon MP240 driver.

Any recommendations?

Great news!

I tried removing and re-installing current Canon MP240 and this procedure worked!

My printer is printing again and I didn't have to download the driver from Canon's website :P

Thank you again LMDE team for making this driver available from the drivers list and make it easy to work with it from printer menu :D :D
