As I booted Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon 64bit on my new Acer Aspire AX3470-EF10P, from a live CD, on compatibility mode because I would not boot otherwise, and there was a warning that Linux Mint could not set a certain frequency, I assume it had to do with my monitor, a Samsung 63.9kHz 60Hz PP, 1280x1024.
after booting the sreen has two black sides, not taking advantage of the full width of the screen.
from other threads I understand that the following information may be helpful to troubleshoot, but I don't know what it all means. I will be very thankful if you can help.
