Hello, there
There are numerous requests out there inquiring about using the Magic Jack telephone device on Linux, and I have created a pdf tutorial on how I was able to get the Magic Jack to work after six months of research and a great loss of some much needed rest. Please click the link below to view my tutorial on how to configure your Magic Jack for use on Linux. I would appreciate input on this and for others to verify my findings for extra assurance. Thanks.

Re: Magic Jack in Linux Mint
Worked wonderfully for me, you are a god
MagicJack recommends only using a cordless phone as it has it's own energy source, but I tried it with a corded phone and it worked!
I will stick with the cordless for now, but nice to know I have the option.
Thanks so very much for your contribution!
