Mint in need of a refresh

Whilst Linux Mint is an awesome polished distro it is a shame that the website, products and other services around the project are so lacklustre.

Just looking at the great announcement that Mint is partnering Think Penguin http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=2194 it is sad that people are commenting on the quality of their site and sadly Mint's own is no better. Compared to other projects or even the Cinnamon site Mint is in desperate need of a refresh.

Not sure I agree really.
And I guess you'll need someone with an inordinate amount of time on their hands to tinker with it all, probably not a priority. And I find it functional and stable as it is and as forums go it's pretty feature rich.
I don't want 'crud' slowing down things either.
