Donations to help Mint

Post by ambertone »

Hi all,

I don't know if I am allowed to post this so forgive me if it's a no-no.

Mint is a wonderful OS, it has solved one of the worst problems I have in my home. Children + Windows + internet = disaster.

With Mint the kids can watch a DVD, listen to music, go on the web, use office applications and much much more all thanks to this wonder thing called Linux. To add to that it is maintained by people who freely give their time so we can have this.

I've donated twice now and if everyone donated even a small amount like 5 or 10 euro think of the end benefit for us all. If you have Paypal it's takes a few seconds.

So I'd like to say "thank you" to all the developers and testers who work on Mint as well as all the people who have helped me in here.

Hello ambertone,
You are quite right. The Mint project must be supported financially if we want to continue enjoying the benefits. After all, it is enough that the developers are spending their free time so that we get so much for free.
I myself found a way to send a small amount, and am glad I could help in a small way.
Greetings, npap
