After a few hours of interwebs searching and thinking, I've found a way to get by this password issue. Very simple in the end, here's what I did:
Control + Alt + F1, then...
- Code: Select all
su
passwd root
*Asks for Password and Confirmation*
Then Control + Alt + F7, open up a terminal and...
- Code: Select all
su
*password*
cd /usr/bin
./live-installer
And the installer should start without issue or errors. Did for me anyhow. Hope this helps somebody, more than "LOLUSENETBOOTIN" cuz that didn't work for me.
