This forever newbie needs help(what,s new about that?). Installed dual booth with Win8 and somehow messed up my user ID. Can,t get into Iinux Mint or win8. Re=installed Mint 13 resetting ID and Password. It is what I'm using right now. Win8 still has boot problems but now have two sets of 13. One I can boot into and one I can,t. How do I delete the non working Linux Mint?? I do have a "live" disc with Linux Mint.
Thanks ahead of time to all the helpful people.......giving of their time and knowledge.

Hello.
What do you think about reinstalling Mint again?
If you do A reinstall use the custom install and insall over over existing
Mint on your drive. You wil be asked where you want to put your mount
location. when the install ask I type "/". It is what i use for my install.
