Downloaded Mint 14 RC, it's working great

Other than the driver issues that I've been having with anything 12.10, it works just great.
My question is will I need to download Linux Mint 14 again or is the RC good enough?
Oh and do you know how to get Nivida drivers on Mint 14? There is no "Addional Drivers"
I tried to get them working like what this site said http://techhamlet.com/2012/10/install-n ... ntu-12-10/
And it works,but I can't see the new Mint logo like when using the live DVD

The drivers unstall from a tab in the software sources. I had a lot of trouble with the NVidea drivers... Going with the 304 driver finally got things working for me. You can follow the instruction to make the RC into the final when the final is released. I have NVidea 9100 on-board graphics in my system.

Which one do you think works with a G98M [Quadro NVS 160M] ? because I'm not seeing a logo (kinda important

After you install the updated Nvidia driver 304.64, the screen resolution used at bootup is set to default and will not allow the Mint splash screen to appear. To set the resolution, follow these commands to run a script that will allow you to set the resolution and color depth that Mint will use at startup. I personnaly used 1024x768-24, but you may be able to go to a higher resolution.

To Fix the Plymouth boot screen Resolution when using Nvidia drivers, run the following commands from Terminal to download and run the script. (Ref:http://www.webupd8.org/2010/10/script-to-fix-ubuntu-plymouth-for.html)
