Re: Really Very Happy except bluetooth
Bluetooth is seriously messed up in LM 13. I constantly struggle with my headset. It's pretty frustrating because it's been so long with teh same problems. Meanwhile a new version is realeased with added features! Great! How about we make basic functionality work. This is the best I have for you:
Install gnome-bluetooth
In terminal: bluetooth-wizard
Go through the menu to set up your device.
I also find that installing blueman gives me a better management utility.
It works sort of OK until I update when it breaks completely & I can't get it working again.

Re: Really Very Happy except bluetooth
in cinnamon I cannot access "bluetooth-properties" anymore, there seems to be no installable package available.
I am using Blueman now but access via the bluetooth applet was very nifty before....
also added it into the applet and saved under a new name:
blueman then runs an applet of its own so I might just run that

Re: Really Very Happy except bluetooth
I think Mate was missing bluetooth up to now, and this is a reference to that being fixed. I don't think the situation in Cinnamon is any better than it was... but I only tested briefly, so I might be wrong.
Re: Really Very Happy except bluetooth
On some notebook, bluetooth is turn off from the start. Yours lsusb output didn't show any bluetooth device.
Maybe you need turn on bluetooth adapter with special Fn + key combination.
