Sometimes when running luckybackup my system freezes. I've tried alt+sysreq R E I S U B and none of them work. I've done a search for luckybackup.log but not found. Where should I look to troubleshoot this problem.
Thanks,
JimQ

Re: luckybackup freezing system
Luckybackup log files are saved in - home/yourusername/.luckyBackup/logs - . However, if luckybacup is freezing your machine it probably doesn't have time to write a log which is why you can't find one.
How about asking on the luckybackup forum?
http://sourceforge.net/p/luckybackup/discussion/
One thing that springs to mind though is if you are trying to backup anything other than your home folder you will probably need to run it as root (ie use sudo).

Thanks viking777,
I forgot to check hidden files but I have now and home/yourusername/.luckyBackup doesn't exist. I checked the luckybackup forum and guess I will have to make a post for my specific problem. I was hoping some other log file would give a clue but not sure which one to look at.
Thanks,
JimQ
