Hi everyone.
I've installed mint 14 Nadia x64 rc.
What I don't understand is the fact that I know I downloaded this version but for some reason when I check in the system it tells me that the windows environment is unknown ( window manager : Mutter (Muffin)).
As a noob this is confusing the hell out of me, am I using cinnamon or not? If not why? and how do I get cinnamon?
Many Thanks.

If what you see is like the screenshot here http://www.linuxmint.com/rel_nadia_what ... p#cinnamon, then you're running Cinnamon.
Cinnamon has a menu with a column of favorite app icons, and a search box on top.
