I don't see it listed anywhere in my menu on lmde. did a search for it too at the top of the menu. it isn't there.

gnome-session-properties

It would seem gnome-session-properties is no longer in the repositories. so much for editing start-up apps with gui

That program doesn't have its own package, it's in the gnome-session-bin one.
