So how come this forum is so quiet compared to Ubuntu?

Postby Telkwa on Fri Nov 16, 2012 7:16 am

Good morning!
After running mostly Ubuntu rigs for the last 8 years, I'm giving Mint 13 a go. DistroWatch (yes, I know, DW may not be an accurate metric) is showing Mint as more popular than Ubuntu.

Yet this forum has way less traffic than Ubuntu's. How come? Maybe most questions can be answered over there unless it's something that's specific to Cinnamon or other Mint tweaks?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

because most of mint users are very active in ubuntu forum. "me, myself and I" have an account there.
the people tend to use forums that has numerous users because it is likely to get the fast and right answear.

There is no problem with Linux Mint. Users don't have to ask question because everything is working fine
