firewfox has retreated its' menu above the display[solved]

Post by tbrownarcher2 »

I have a problem with firefox's menu retreating (File; view; bookmark) above the top of the display. I can't figure what keys to use to get it back ????

Thanks,
Nate

Which desktop are you using, KDE, Mate, Cinnamon, Xfce, Unity? Did you install over the Unity desktop or are you presently using Unity? This sounds like you might possibly be getting the Unity menu response, or if it only happens in Firefox, see the next paragraph.

Do you have an orange rectangle with firefox in the line with your tabs? You may have changed to the minimal menu on Firefox. If that is the case, click on the Firefox to open the menu >> click Preferences >> and tick the box by the Menu Bar.

You can hold down the alt key and click and drag to move around a window even if you can't see its draggable top bar.

Right click near the tab space. A drop menu will open. Than select "Menu Bar". Another way is to click the "firefox" button and than --> Options --> Menu Bar.
