Trash cans and deleting.
I'm a recent turnover from Windows OS. I searched google, and didn't find what I was looking for, only similar subjects. In Windows, there is an option to remove the trash can and simply delete whatever file permanently whenever one presses delete or right click->delete. Is this available in XFCE? Also, I really like the speed of this OS. It's simply screaming. I have never been on something where the OS took so little time. Info: I'm running 64bit LMDE. Also, the installation disk I used mentions amd a few times, I have an i3, will this cause issues? No problems so far.

Re: Trash cans and deleting.
If you want to permanently delete a file you can hold down the Shift key while pressing Del or selecting Delete from the menu. Don't know if you can disable the trash.

If you're using pcmanfm, there's an option: Edit > Prefs > General
If you're using thunar:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ThunarCustomActions -> "Delete/Bypass Recycle Bin" or "Permanently Remove"
