apt-listbugs problem:
In every install command y use the --force-yes option: apt-get -y --force-yes install packagename
In the apt-listbugs manual this would mean that it assumes you select 'yes' for all questions.
So why is it still interrupting the install?
Does the process continue after you purge apt-listbugs?
[EDIT]
After I installed apt-listbugs on my 64-bit system I ran:
- Code: Select all
apt policy apt-listbugs
apt-listbugs:
Installed: 0.1.7
Candidate: 0.1.7
Version table:
*** 0.1.7 0
500 http://mirror.rts-informatique.fr/linuxmint/debian/latest/ testing/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
And after that I installed my Nvidia drivers with DDM...without any problem...I don't get it...
Also found an old bug on apt-listbugs that really sounds like this issue: http://www.archivum.info/debian-bugs-closed@lists.debian.org/2009-10/03712/Bug-459127-marked-as-done-(apt-listbugs-Ignores--force-yes).html

regarding apt-listbugs, 2 thoughts:
1- it's not part of the default installation so won't be a major issue (at least not one that we have to deal generally)
2- the blocking behaviour looks kinda random (like all the good bugs)
of course understanding this would be a plus.
