I would like to be totally on Linux (which I use most of the time), but need Windows for certain applications ..... mostly media. So for those who have been considering the upgrade, it can be done rather painlessly

sudo update-grub

Inside Linux Mint Debian Edition launch a terminal window and runThis should make Grub detect the changed Windows version and display it correctly on next reboot.
- Code: Select all
sudo update-grub
Kind regards,
Karl

I, like you, use Windows but rarely, perhaps LMDE 90% to Windows 10%. I've been considering the upgrade, mainly because I "repair" many Windows machines and they will be popping up shortly.
What do you think of the new UI?
